midasFX+ offers an integrated working environment, which encompasses various Windows and Menu Systems, which in turn provide an utmost environment for Modelling, Visualization and Simulation.
Works Tree takes the form of Windows Explorer, which lists all the items pertaining to the project file being worked on. It includes Geometry, Mesh objects, Loadings, Boundary conditions, Analysis control and Analysis results.
Works Tree enables the user to systematically check the entire contents of work performed. It supports various selection operations and provides various Context Menus corresponding to the selection for ease of use.
Works Tree in the post-processing mode lists the types of all the results, which can be verified, in a tree structure format. It supports such operations as producing graphic output and table output for selected results and saving graphic or table output currently being reviewed.
Property Window provides various property information for an object selected in the Work Window or Works Tree.
The composition of Property Window changes with the working mode (Pre-processing, Post-processing and Report generation) and the selected object. It supports editing basic properties such as names and colours.
Task-Oriented User Interface
midasFX+ dynamically changes its dialog boxes corresponding to active operations and the progress and provides Task-oriented User Interface, which guides us to the required selection and input items.
midasFX+ permits a total of 9 snap functions to enter a location and mathematical expressions for numerical input.

midasFX+ provides many ways of representing graphical displays for Geometry and Mesh, which allow the user to freely manipulate the model views in the modelling process.
midasFX+ permits individual display types for individual geometry objects. A complex model can be displayed in combination of Wireframe, Bounding Box or Transparency types for different objects for easy recognition of even the inside of the geometry.
Similar to the graphic display capabilities for geometry, individual display types can be applied to individual mesh groups. Only some of mesh groups in a complex model can be displayed by the Feature Edge type to clearly verify the shapes of internal mesh groups, group composition.
Depending on the current state of operation and the object of interest, effective selection is very important in modelling a large complex structure. midasFX+ provides versatile selection methods to most effectively select objects in any state of modelling process.
Mesh Sets selected by dragging the mouse can be transformed (translated, rotated, scaled, etc.) to examine the model. This becomes extremely useful to check a complex model.
Viewpoints can be dynamically moved to examine the model by mouse dragging. This capability not only permits viewing the exteriors but also enables us to view the interiors of the model for examining hard-to-reach areas.
